Speaker: Elizabeth Abell, Medical and Laboratory Gas Consultant, introduced by Beth A. Edwards, CHC, Director of Healthcare Sales (Pattons Medical)
Elizabeth Abell is a chemical engineer that has worked in the field for over 20 years, 15 in the medical gas industry. Her tenure with Beacon Medaes was in the Rocky Mountain States where she specialized in the unique environment of designing equipment at high elevations. She assisted in the design and installation of medical gas equipment projects of varying size from small clinics to full high acuity hospitals. After leaving Beacon Medaes, she created Abell Consulting where she continued to assist engineering firms in designing, sizing, and specifying medical gas equipment for code compliancy across the United States. She joined Pattons Medical in 2020 as our Western Medical and Laboratory Gas Consultant based out of Denver, Colorado. She works with contractors and hospitals to assist in solving NFPA99 issues and determine value engineering opportunities.

Ms. Edwards is CEO HFM Cornerstone, LLC, founded in 2019. She has been in an account management and business development leadership positions, supporting healthcare facility managers, for over fifteen years. Sharing best practices and driving operational efficiencies to Clients is her passion. She is a member of ASHE, and is certified for the American Healthcare Association, American Society of Healthcare Engineers, Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC), and Health Care Construction, and has twice had the honor of speaking at ASHE National Conference. She is a member of the American Society of Sanitary Engineers and is 6005 certified. She also holds additional certifications from Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers (KSHE) Health Care Constructor, Texas Association of Healthcare Facility Managers (TAHFM) Safe Day One and OSHA 10. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida, BS Business Administration.
