Speakers: Dave Price with Public Health – Seattle & King County

Description Dave Price, CPD, GPD is the Assistant Chief Plumbing Inspector for the jurisdiction of Seattle and Unincorporated King County. He enjoyed a lengthy career as both a mechanical and plumbing systems designer in the Seattle area before joining King County Public Health in late 2022.  As the technical lead for the King County Plumbing & Gas Piping program, Dave is responsible for researching code compliance issues, interpreting code intent, providing feedback on code development, and advising program staff on practical applications of code provisions and commonly used design strategies.  Dave often acts as a liaison between the King County Plumbing & Gas Piping program and industry stakeholders through his participation in ASPE as VP-Legislative of the Seattle chapter, and as the lead editor of the King County plumbing & gas program newsletter.
